The Jetset Collection had the pleasure of interviewing Urmas Karner, the General Manager at The Somerset on Grace Bay. He gave us his insider guide on Turks & Caicos, an island that boasts some of the most beautiful stretches of beaches and vibrant coral reefs in the world. The award-winning Somerset offers 1 to 5 bedroom luxury villas footsteps away powdery white sands and calm turquoise waters.

MOST UNDERRATED THING IN TURKS AND CAICOS: Island Vibes’ four hour snorkel / island exploration excursion. They pick you up right at your resort’s beachfront. A bargain at $89 per person, with very fresh conch salad and superb rum punch included. Fantastic staff. Never overcrowded. Sit on the roof loungers and watch the world glide by.
FAVORITE LATE-NIGHT HANGOUT: My King bed.
NO TRIP TO TURKS AND CAICOS IS COMPLETE WITHOUT: the Thursday Night Fish Fry at Bight Park. The island comes to life!
